3 Favorable Questions To Ask Your Credit Card Company

As a credit customer, it’s easy to feel like your credit card company is a dictatorship. Whatever they say goes and you’re lucky you’ve even been allowed to use “their” credit.  The truth is, most credit card companies aren’t operated that way at all. As the customer, they actually want to keep you satisfied.

You’ll be surprised to what they may agree to, if you just asked. Need a payment extension? Want a late payment forgiven? These are questions many credit card companies may be willing to work with you on. Here are a few other questions you should ask your credit company, especially when you fall into a little slump:

  • Ask if you can choose the day you pay on.
  • Ask for a lower interest rate. After some time, as a good customer your credit card company may be willing to lower your interest rate.
  • Ask for a higher credit limit. Same as with asking for a lower interest rate. If you’ve been a pretty good customer for say a year or two, they may not have an issue with raising your credit limit.

The overall goal is to get the most you can out of your credit card.
